What Is the Law of Mentalism?
The law of mentalism is the first of the seven Hermetic principles, an ancient teaching that has passed through many traditions for thousands of years. Its core truth is simple and vast: the universe is mental in nature. Consciousness is primary. Everything you see, touch and live began as consciousness before it became form.
Pause with that for a moment. The stars, the ocean, the cup of tea beside you, the love you feel for the people closest to you. All of it rose from a field of living awareness.
This is breathtaking, and it is true. It means your inner world shapes your outer world. It means your life responds to the quality of your consciousness every single moment.
Now here is where I take you further than most teachers go.
The Law Beneath the Law of Mentalism
Before consciousness ever shaped a single star, there was delight. The universe delighted itself into being. That is why the Law of Delight is the first universal law, the Crown Law that rules all 777 laws I have documented in my Universal Codex library.
Delight is the spark inside consciousness. It is the reason creation wanted to happen at all. So when the law of mentalism tells you that all is mind, I hear something richer: all is consciousness, and consciousness is alive with delight.
And where does delight live in you? In your heart.
The Law of Mentalism Meaning: Heart Before Mind
The word “mentalism” makes many people picture the thinking mind. The busy, clever, analytical voice in your head. That voice is brilliant. It organizes, plans, measures and expresses. It is a gift.
And it was designed to serve.
Your heart is the seat of your soul and the primary intelligence of your life. I teach that the heart is 10,000 times more powerful than the mind. Heart science research from groups like the HeartMath Institute shows that the heart sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. Your heart holds its own intelligence. It processes, it knows, it remembers.
Your mind thinks. Your heart knows.
This is why I teach heartset. Heartset is the alignment of your whole consciousness with the wisdom of your heart. Your mind becomes the beautiful instrument through which your heart plays its music.
Your Tiny Mind and Your Giant’s Heart
In my teaching, I describe two voices in you. Your Tiny Mind is the ego. It speaks in fear, survival, comparison and control. It keeps you safe by keeping you small.
Your Giant’s Heart is your soul. It speaks in delight, desire, mission and love. It knows exactly who you came here to be.
Both voices live in you. The law of mentalism shows you which one is shaping your reality right now. When your Giant’s Heart holds the throne, your mind becomes a devoted ally. Ideas flow. Plans make sense. Action feels inspired. Life lines up around a heart that knows.
The Shadow Side of the Law of Mentalism
Every law in my Codex carries a shadow, and the shadow of this law is one of the most common patterns in the modern world. I call it the Shadow Law of Mentalism.
The shadow appears when the analytical mind claims it is the creator. It seizes the throne that belongs to the heart. And it starts shaping a whole life from pure logic and intellectual construction.
You know this shadow. A life that looks perfect on paper and feels empty inside. A career that makes sense to everyone and lights up no one. A relationship chosen from a checklist. Clever, coherent, impressive, and quiet where your soul longs for music.
The heart alone, without the mind, can be naive. The mind alone, without the heart, creates emptiness. The heart in authority, with the mind in devoted partnership, is the architecture of sovereign creation.
That is the realignment this law invites. The shadow dissolves the moment you return the crown to your heart.
The Soul Code for the Law of Mentalism
Every law in my Universal Codex carries a Soul Code, a three-part sequence that holds the essence of that law. The Soul Code for the Shadow Law of Mentalism is 606-222-000. This code dissolves the false throne of the mind and restores your heart to its rightful seat.
606 is the masked intelligence. It names the mind dressed up as Source, when the mind is a tool in the hands of something greater.
222 is the duality. It names the split between the false throne of the mind and the true seat of the soul in your heart, so you can see the split clearly and close it.
000 is the void of the mind cut off from the heart. Pure intellect without soul creates only emptiness, and naming that void is the first step to filling it with delight again.
Here is the Liberation Phrase from my Codex, in words you can speak today: 606-222-000 dissolves the false throne of the mind. The heart is the seat of my soul. My mind is its devoted ally. I restore my heart to its rightful authority now.
Why Consciousness Creates: The Quantum Heart of This Law
My father ran NASA programs for 30 years. When I was young, he taught me the holographic universe principle: every piece of the universe holds the whole. I carried that teaching into everything I studied, and it is the key that unlocks the law of mentalism.
If every piece holds the whole, then your consciousness is a living piece of the consciousness that created everything. You are made of the same awareness that spun the galaxies. That is how much creative power lives in you right now.
In my original research, I describe delight as the resonance that collapses quantum potential from the zero point field into form. Potential becomes reality when it meets a heart that delights in it. Your mind can describe a possibility in perfect detail. Your delighted heart is what calls it into being.
So the order matters. When your heart leads, your consciousness carries the full creative charge of delight. When your mind tries to create alone, it describes and describes, and the field waits for your heart to speak.
This is wonderful news. It means you hold the switch. Every time you return to your heart, you return to the place where creation happens.
How the Law of Mentalism Shows Up in Your Life
This law moves through every ordinary day. Once you see it, you see it everywhere.
In money. You run the numbers again and again, and the numbers tell you to stay put. Meanwhile your heart keeps pointing toward the offer you are afraid to create. When you ask your heart first, the numbers start to rearrange around that knowing. My teaching on the Law of Vibration shows why: your heart sets the resonance your life answers.
In love. Your mind lists every reason a person is right for you. Your heart stays quiet, or it sings. Which one have you been listening to? The women I sit with often tell me they knew from the first conversation. Their heart knew. Their mind took years to catch up.
In purpose. Your mind wants a five-year plan before you take one step. Your heart already holds your Mission I’mPossible, the sacred desire that is the first step of my DELIGHT Roadmap. Alignment needs something to align to, and your heart holds that something.
In everyday moments. You overthink a text for twenty minutes. Then you put your hand on your heart, ask what is true, and the words arrive in ten seconds. That is the law of mentalism in its true order. Heart first. Mind delighted to follow.
This connects beautifully with the Law of Correspondence, as within, so without. When your inner world is led by your heart, your outer world reflects that harmony back to you.

A Practice to Live the Law of Mentalism
This is the heart-throne practice, drawn from the Liberation Practice in my Codex. It takes five minutes, and it changes how you make every decision.
- Arrive in your heart. Sit somewhere quiet. Place both hands over your heart. Breathe slowly until your attention settles there, in the center of you.
- Speak the realignment. Say softly, “I restore my heart to its rightful authority as the seat of my soul. My heart leads. My mind serves.”
- Ask the question. Bring one decision to mind, large or small. Ask, “What does my heart know?” Wait for the first, quiet answer. It often arrives as a feeling of expansion or a simple yes.
- Invite your mind in. Now let your brilliant mind do what it does best. Ask it, “How do we bring what my heart knows into form?” Let it organize, plan and express.
- Seal it with delight. Do one small thing within the hour that honors what your heart knew. Send the message. Book the date. Write the first line.
- Close with the affirmation. “My heart leads. My mind serves. I create from the integrated intelligence of soul-sourced heart wisdom expressed through my brilliant mind.”
