How to Release the Layers That Hold an Old Reality
Living from your truth becomes easy once you release what was never yours. Here is the release ceremony I use, drawn from the Timeline Release Ceremony in the Codex.
- List the layers. Write down the beliefs, patterns and identities that keep you on the old track. “I always have to work twice as hard.” “I am the one people leave.” “My body never cooperates.”
- Feel what each one gave you. Layers often protected us. Some gave you a way to belong, others a way to avoid disappointment. Name the gift.
- Burn or bury the page. Do it safely. As the page goes, say: “I release what was never mine. I return to my truth.”
- Mark the threshold. Step physically over a line, a doorway or a candle. The body loves ceremony, and it remembers thresholds.
- Act from your truth before nightfall. One small action seals the release.
Expect an old layer to knock once or twice afterward. An old habit returns, or an old person calls. That is the old station checking whether you are still tuned in. Simply return to your truth. Each return strengthens the reality that matches you.
A Daily Practice: The Authentic Truth Walk
This is a practice you can do in fifteen minutes on a walk, around your home or in your car before you go inside.
- Name the layer. Before you begin, name one layer you are ready to set down today. Worry about money. The need to please. The belief that rest must be earned.
- Breathe into your truth. Place a hand on your heart and speak the activation phrase: “717-000-111 shifts my reality. I live my truth, and my vision lives through me.”
- Walk and soften. For the first five minutes, notice where that layer lives in your body. Breathe into it with each step and let it soften.
- Notice as yourself. For the next five minutes, notice what genuinely delights you along the way. Delight is your truth speaking.
- Decide from your truth. For the last five minutes, make one decision from your authentic truth. Book the appointment, send the message or drop the obligation.
