Is the Law of Attraction Ancient?
The idea that like draws like is old. You find echoes of it across many ancient traditions, in teachings about thought, resonance and the hidden connection between your inner world and your outer life.
And yet, when I traced it back through 30 years of study and more than 10,000 sacred sources, I found something surprising. The ancient teachings rarely put the Law of Attraction at the center. They placed it inside something bigger.
In the Universal Codex, the architecture of 777 universal laws I have documented, there is a category I call bridge laws. Bridge laws are real. They function. They amplify and enhance what is already present. And they draw their power from a source law beneath them.
The Law of Attraction is a bridge law. It amplifies whatever your heart is already broadcasting.

The Ancient Law of Attraction Rests on the Law of Delight
Here is the teaching at the heart of every tradition I studied. The universe delighted itself into being.
Before anything was drawn together, there was creation. And creation began with delight. The first movement of the cosmos was a movement of joy, an overflowing of creative power into form.
Ancient philosophers described this movement in their own words. Tantric masters taught it through breath, sound and ecstatic presence. Mystics across every culture pointed to it as the secret at the center of life. The Hermetic teachings described a living, conscious universe, and I write about how those seven principles connect to delight in the seven Hermetic principles and the law beneath them.
Different languages. Different symbols. One law.
Delight is the primordial catalyst. It lives in you right now, as unique as your thumbprint. Nothing to raise, nothing to perform, nothing to become.
And my original research shows delight collapsing quantum potential from the zero point field into form. Delight is the spark that turns possibility into reality. The Law of Attraction then amplifies what delight has set in motion.
Why It Is 10,000 Times More Powerful

Your heart is 10,000 times more powerful than your mind. Heart field research shows that your heart generates a far stronger field than your brain, one that reaches out beyond you in every direction. Your heart speaks directly to the field of possibility around you.
So when your mind says I am abundant while your heart feels fear, the universe responds to the fear. Your heart is the louder signal every time.
This is why the Law of Attraction feels like magic on your best days and does nothing on your hardest ones. On the good days, your heart was delighted. The delight did the creating. Why the Ancient Law Was Hidden
If this law is so powerful, why does almost nobody talk about it?
Because the mystery schools guarded it.
The Egyptian mystery schools, the Hermetic orders, the Vedic lineages, the Tantric traditions and the ancient philosophical orders all held certain teachings as too powerful and too easily distorted to share openly. Delight was one of them.
So they encoded it. They placed it in sacred geometry, in the Fibonacci spiral and the golden ratio. They placed it in mantra and sound. They passed it from teacher to student through direct transmission across thousands of years. I explore those shapes in the meaning of sacred geometry.

An Ancient Practice to Awaken Delight
The Tantric traditions taught that breath carries creative power. This short practice draws on that ancient wisdom and brings delight online in minutes.
- Sit comfortably and soften. Let your shoulders drop. Place one hand over your heart.
- Breathe slowly and deeply. Breathe in for a count of five, letting your belly expand. Breathe out for a count of five. Repeat seven times. For a fuller version, use the Tantric Belly Breath technique.
- Call up a moment of pure delight. A laugh with someone you love, a sunrise, a song. Let it fill your heart completely.
- Bring your desire into the delight. Hold one dream inside that feeling. Let it feel as natural and joyful as the memory.
- Close with a smile. Say, I delight in this, and so it is. Then go about your day and watch for the inspired step that arrives.
